I'm looking for my Doyle family and just don't know where to start, I'd like to know who they married?did they have kids? and possibly what graveyard they may be buried in? all i have is birth records

The Mother and Father are--

Abbey Healy,born 20 Dec 1791 Saint John, Limerick, Limerick, Ireland (death date and burial location unknown,Parents unknown)

Thomas Doyle born 1793 Wexford, Ireland, died 1879 (burial location unknown, parents unknown)

---Names and birthdates on the children

Narry Doyle 26 May 1821 - Roman Catholic, Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland

Timothy Doyle 10 Dec 1823 - Roman Catholic, Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland

Anstatia Doyle 8 Oct 1826 - Roman Catholic, Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland

*Thomas J Doyle 13 Jun 1829 - Roman Catholic, Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland

*Ellen Doyle 16 Oct 1831 - Roman Catholic, Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland

John Doyle 30 Nov 1834 - Roman Catholic, Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland

*I found a record of Ellen Doyle married to a Sullivan Michael (born 27 Sep 1829,Inchigeelagh Parish, Cork, Ireland)

Also found record of Ellen Doyle as a prisoner in 1879 Cork County, Cork, Ireland.

*Thomas Doyle is my Great,Great,Great Grandfather, he traveled to America and later died in Illinois, No research on him is required

As stated above, I'm looking for who those people might have married, their kids, and burial locations if possible, did any of them travel to America? I'd like to work the bloodlines into modern times and slowly discover distant cousins.

  • Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

You have a good amount of info there so you have made a great start! I see that that some of the baptisms for Healy-Doyle children are listed on irishgenealogy.ie

You could continue using that site to see if you can learn anymore about who they married, particularly the girls. It might be no harm either to supplement this search with rootsireland.ie (a subscription site) or familysearch to see if they married outside that part of Cork. I would start with that search of marriages and resulting baptisms first then perhaps think about the Census. Parish records for Inchigeelagh begin in 1816 so there will be no records for that parish before that time though Rootsireland will cover Limerick and Wexford.

    Best wishes
