Jeremiah Moore was born in Ireland between 1800 and 1810 per the 1840 Cenus, Rochester, New York, United States. In 1840, Rochester, New York, he was living with a George Moore. Jeremiah was married 7 Feb 1839 in Ontario, Canada by a Wesleyan Methodist preacher to Martha Morgan. The witnesses were Samuel Newman and John Morgan. On the same day with the same witnesses were married Joseph Moore and Catherine Morgan. Martha was not the sister of Catherine Morgan. Both witnesses appear to have been related to Catherine Morgan. It is not known if they were related to Jeremiah or Martha. We believe that Jeremiah and Joseph Moore were related, possibly brothers, as they continue an association.
Jeremiah's oldest son was born 4 Jan 1840 in Cavan, Ontario, Canada. The next child was born in 1842 in Rochester, New York. The third child was born 13 Oct 1844, back in Cavan, Ontario, Canada. Jeremiah Moore died about 1854 and his children and grandchildren had no further information about him.
Through Y-DNA testing Jeremiah's descendants match to a Moore family of Wesleyan Methodist associated with the Cork County locations: Joseph Moore born 15 Jun 1849 Ballydehob and died there 22 Sept 1891; his father Joseph Moore, born about 1810 in Kilgarriff Parish, Clonakilty, and married 1835 in Diocese of Cork and Ross, to Mary Moore. Joseph's father was John Moore and his mother was Martha Skuce (born abt 1775) married in 1796 Diocese of Cork and Ross. Looking for the siblings of Joseph's father John Moore and this ancestors. If I learn more about Joseph born 1810 in Kilgarriff Parish and his ancestors, I hope determine how they are related to my Jeremiah Moore.

Records from the Catholi cDIocese of Cork and Ross have been uploaded to http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/ free of charge. You could try looking through these to see if you can find any records pertaining to the family, hopefully you will find some connections for in them. I did a quick search and found a baptism for a Jerry Moore,1810 Clonakilty-is it possible this is your Jeremiah?

Kilgarriff parish belongs to the Catholic parish of Clonakilty, however records for Clonakilty do not start until 1809, so if your Jeremiah was born before that year you will not be able to find his birth record in Catholic records.
