Hi,

I'm trying to trace the origins of my Grandfather James Kiely. We know he wasn't born in kinsale but was stationed there while in the military where he met and married my Grandmother Elizabeth Crean. As far as I know he was born in April 1912 in Cork but I'm not sure exactly where. If anyone can help me fill in the blanks I'd be very grateful.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

    I checked the civil birth index records and there were two James Kiely births registered in 1912 but they were in Tipperary and Limerick. The closest Co. Cork births were 1908 and 1915. Do you know his parents names? Unfortunately we do not have access to church baptismal records post 1900.
