I am tracing the families of my Great Grandfather
James Bartholomew Nolan born 1st August, 1864 in Kinsale, Cork
his parents names were Michael Nolan and Julia Dunn
What details do you have already for your James, e.g. do you have a baptism and/or birth record that gives that 1864 date ?
Records for the Catholic parish of Kinsale are included on the IrishGenealogy website, but I dont see any sign of him in these, or any likely matches in civil births. The only James Nolan birth I see on the BMD Index in Cork district is one in Whitechurch sub-district north of Cork city, but parents dont match those you've mentioned...
