Hi,
I was hoping someone could help me-does anyone know of a grave or graveyard for the O'Callaghan family in Co. Cork? The parishes I know they were near and lived in are Ballyhea and Buttevant. I'm looking for graves or burial records for the early 1900s-particualry c. 1911 to 1915.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes I have but unfortunately I had no luck. I would happy with just a list of possible graveyards in the Mallow/Buttevant areas if anyone could help.

I'm looking for information on the O'Callaghans from Buttevan/Ballyhea area. My great grandmother Hannah O'Callaghan died in Mallow in the 1940s. I'm trying to trace her family but so far making little progress.

Is it a Church of Ireland or Catholic church you are looking for? There are a couple of Churches in Buttevant. A Catholic church in the main town and leading out of the town towards Mallow, St John's which is Church of Ireland. They have a pretty good website.
