ROLL CALL

Lets do a Roll-Call, post the family surname here and the place where they settled abroad.

This will help other members finding relatives, if you know the date of emigration from Mallow even better.

For example, one of my relatives:

HEALY  family from Mallow left  Mallow in 1924 and settled in WESTCHESTER- NEW YORK

  • Julia's original name was more then likely HEALY, there were three Healy families in Mallow at that time, all from the Donoughmore county Cork clan.

  • William B. Coughlin (b. 1825) moved to U.S. around 1848-53, settled in Dubuque, Iowa.  Don't know if his siblings followed but it's possible a brother Michael also emigrated and settled in Iowa.
