  • Hello Marlene,

If you go to www.rootsireland.ie you will find the baptism record of JOhn Norris, father William, mother Catherine Gardner , baptised Co. Cork 1848

You will also find the marriage record for William And Catherine in 1845 in Co. Cork.  You will have to pay to view these records which will be about €5 each.

And yes Kildorrery is a parish in Co. cork.

    Kind regards,

    Anne Dennehy

  • Hi M Norris

Yes we found your John Norris in the Kildorrery Church Records:

John was baptised in Kildorrery Church on the 1st October 1848

His Parents were William Norris & Catherine Gardner, He had many siblings and there are

a lot of your relatives living in the Kildorrery area and in the UK.

I reckon you will have to come and meet them all.

    Best Regards From Lena.
