Trying to trace my wife's McKenna ancestors. I have reached a deadend with her 3xgreat grandfather Terence John McKenna, born in Ireland in 1830 and died after 1874. His son John McKenna was born in Pennsylvania in 1857 and married Clementine McFee.
I do not know where Terence was born, nor when he emigrated, nor the names of his parents.

ww.rootsireland.ie/ (pay site) has 2 1830 baptism records for Terence; 1 is MacKenna & the other McKenna; both are county Meath
You need to purchase credit to get the full record which would have the parish and HOPEFULLY the parents' names.
I searched Immigration and Travel USA collection on ancestry.com and found Terence McKenna born abt 1828 arrived Philadelphia Pennsylvania 18 Sept 1854 aged 26 occupation labourer
Ship name Saranak
There is another arrived aged 18 in New York 1847 with no other details
