Searching for information on the family of Humphrey Callaghan & Elizabeth O'Brien. Their four daughters immigrated to Boston. They are Ellen, born 1837, Hannah, born 1839, Margaret, born 1854 and Catherine, born 1860.

The 1852 Griffiths Valuation survey head of household listing for Co. Cork showed three Humphrey Callaghans. Possibly one of these three is the Humphrey in your note although none of the three were in Murragh civil parish. www.irishgenealogy.ie has a number of Co. Cork church records. I did a quick look at the records but did not find any that related to your family. You might want to take a more detailed look.
