Hi All - I was wondering if anyone could help. My partner and I are researching her mum's family tree. Her grandmother - Lizzie Parkhill, was born at the Infirmary in Waterside in Dec 1922. We believed that Lizzie's mother died in child-birth, but after some research this was not the case. Therefore we are now trying to find some information about Lizzie's guardian - William Peoples. We have got records, stating that both William and Lizzie lived at Millpath, eglinton in 1943. If anyone can help, please let us know.

    I searched www.rootsireland for Lizzie's birth in Derry but got no results

    However there were 8 other Parkhill baptism/birth records for 1922 + - 5 years

    I tried William Peoples born 1900 + - 5 years in Derry and got 3 - all 1895 - a baptism for William James and a birth and baptism for a William John. Do you happen to have a second name for him or an approximate birth year?

    Many thanks for replying.

    I've looked at this site, however we don't have alot of information about William Peoples.  All we know, was that he lived in Mill Cottage, Eglinton, had a daughter Ruby Peoples and was Lizzie's Parkhill's guardian.
