Source: Martha Churchill, "History of Milan, MI" on-line.

whose reference notes point John L. (Leland) Moore as son of William Moore jr. to Petersboro NH and Londonderry NH. Apparently he was Justice of the Peace, and a State Legislator.

He or one of the Moore family may have been Deacon and founder of the Baptist Church in Mooreville or Milan.

The family was affiliated with Minto and Moore until about 1975, in Milan Michigan.

The biography, from an unknow knowledge source, lists William Moore jr as son of William Sr. of Londonderry NH.

Therein it says Mooresville was founded 1826. And shows William Moore Jr resident before the arrival of John L. Moore "founder".
