My ggrand father Robert Armstrong said that his wife Mary Martin's grandfather was Robert Martin, ggrandfather was Robert Martin and gggrandfather was Robert Martin. Mary is believed to have at least three brothers, James Martin 1826, married Jane Smith 25 September 1848, Ireland; William Martin, married Eliza Martin 13 March 1846 Annaclone, Down, Ireland; and David Martin 20 March 1848 Ballyroney, County Down, Ireland According to the free pages, at the time of Davids marriage, Davids father was of Ballybrick, Eliza Anns father,  James Kennedy was of Larkin.  I suspect it may be Lackin. I have sources all four marriages, including my ggrandmother Mary's. She married William Armstrong  24 November 1846 Drumgooland, Down,Ireland.  There is other possible marriages, but these are the ones in my grandmothers records.

Origianally we believed the Martins to be from Legananny in the Parish of Drumgooland - there are plenty in the area, but these marriage records, especially Davids make me wonder if they were from one of these other nearby parishes.  Does anyone have information on the Martins of Ballyroney and/or Annaclone?

Thanks for all your help!
