I'm wondering if someone can tell me what records are available for the Dromore Parish. My family, known to be from Legananny, may possibly be from Dromore, at least some of them.  As far as denomination goes, My Great Grand Parents belonged to the Church of England(Ireland).  I don't know about this family.

Robert Martin believed to have been born around 1801, his father is Robert Martin and his mother is believed to be Jane Patterson.  There is a christening record in Dromore Parish 7 July 1896 with these parents, could be him.   Death date unknown.  He married Jane Nicholsen.   The only sources I have are a history written by my Great Grandfather and a transcript from family search with the christening information.

Jane Nicholsen believed to have been born around 1799. No information on her death.  Only source I have is the history from my Great Grandfather.

Their children:

James Martin, birth date unkown, thought to be in County Down. Death unknown.  Married Jane Smith 25 September 1848 in Ireland.  No sources. Don't know where he belongs in birth order either.

William Martin, believed to be born around 1824 in  County Down, Death unknown.  Married Eliza Martin(this is her surname, not his) in Annaclone, County Down, Ireland. There is a family tree transcript to source this.  No other sources.

Mary Martin, my 2x Great Grandmother, believed to have born in 1827 in Legananny, Banbridge, County Down. Death 14 March 1916, County Down, Ireland. Married William Armstrong, my 2x Great Grandfather. Sources include history written by my Great Grandfather, 1901 & 1911 census, William Armstrongs will, find my past and family search transcripts of marriage in Drumgooland Parish

David Martin, believed to have been born around 1828 in County Down, Death unknown, married Eliza Ann Kennedy 20 March 1848 in Banbridge.  Only source is family search transcript of Ireland Marriage Index.

This information is as accurate as I can offer; we have so little information that it keeps getting merged into other families in family tree.

I've pretty much exhausted my resources outside of Ireland, so I'm hoping someone can tell me what's available at Proni or elsewhere.

Do you think imore information can be found in Drumgooland and/or Dromore Parish records?  I don’t know what parish Annaclone is in.  How about Civil indexes, could any of them be there?

Thanks for your help!
