Hello,
I hope you can help me find information about my GGF and GGGF. My GGF, James McConville was born in April 1856 in Tullish, Diocese of Dromore to James and Esther (McGorian) McConville.
I'd like to find out what church he was baptized in and if he had any silblings. I am planning a visit to Ireland in the spring of 2014.

This is the present day RC church for Tullylish (I'm assuming the McConvilles were RC). http://www.tullylish.com/ They have a History section on the web page so possibly you can figure out where James was baptized. I did notice that the parish priest for this parish from 1911-1913 was Michael McConville.

There?s a copy of the baptism records for Tullylish RC parish held in PRONI (the Public Record Office) in Belfast. Their copy covers the years:
R.C. Tullylish (Dromore diocese) Baptisms, marriages and burials, 1833-81.
So that should include James?s baptism if he was born in that parish.
