McCullough Family

Hi Janice,

I searched www.rootsireland.ie for a marriage record for Robert and Lizzie.  there were a number of records (as we don't know Lizzie's surname to pinpoint), however one record stood out for me.

Marriage of Robert Mc Cullough                      and                      Elizabeth Hagan  on 11 Mar 1892

Ballyan Kircubbin                                                                      Kircubbin

I also jfound the family on the 1901 census at Blackhall Street Kircubbin

Robert 29,   Lizzie 28,  William thomas 8,  Joseph 6,  John 4,  Robert George  0

You can read all the detail on the irish census (free view).  I can't however find the family in the 1911 census.

Mary Finlay’s marriage to Wm Thomas was registered in Ards on 9th June 1915. His marriage to Beatrice Halliday was registered on 18th June 1924. You can view the original certificates on-line on the GRONI website, using the “search registrations” option:

One of these looks likely to be Beatrice in 1911:
