My grandfather John George Walsh came to South Africa at the turn of the last century. I have no idea where the family came from. He had brothers one of whom was William, and sisters too, I think. He settled in the Caledon area where the family had varios business interests (The Caledon Baths Hotel, the water famed for it's therapeutic propertiies, and they exported everlasting flowers) I would be most interested to learn of his and the Family's origins please.

    I would suggest that you look for a professional genealogist with which to start and their knowledge and expertise would better be able to assist with your query in its present form
