Looking for family of Richard Murphy and Ellen NLN Murphy . Richard Murphy B. 18 Jan 1853 Ireland and d. 15 March 1932 Hartford , Sebastian Co., Arkansas and burried at Hartford Memoriel Park . Ellen has no maidan name only have her as Murphy she was b. 24 June 1848 Ireland d.11 May 1930 Hartford , Sebastian Co. Arkansas . They had 2 sons Thomas Murphy and John Murphy b. 1882 New York USA and he married Orcilla Mary McGuckin b. 1887 Scotland . I also have James Murphy b. Roscommon ,Ireland d. 1974 Brox New York USA his wife Mary Greene b. Roscomon Ireland d. Brox New York USA . That is all I have on these family members. Hope some one will know family . You posted in the Athleague parish page. Do you have any information that indicates that Richard Murphy came from that parish?
I checked Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie and di not locate a baptismal record for a Richard Murphy in Co. Roscommon from 1848-1858. Some churches do not have records back to the early 1850s. Athleague records start in 1808 but there are gaps where records are missing.
Do you have Richard's death record which might show his parents names?
