I am trying to track my Great Grandfather Peter McCormick and my great Great Grandfather Patrick McCormick. Peter's death certificate lists his birth as about 1844 at Gortin Castle, Gortin, County Ttrone, Ireland but there is only his father Patrick listed no mother. Peter emigrated to Australia at the age of 21 in 1864. I have found a Patrick McCormick listed at Cloonarkan and was wondering if any one had any information on this person?
