My great grandmother Bridget Cleary was born 4 Feb 1863 in Kilbeacanty.   Bridget migrated to Australia in the 1880s and married Martin Kennedy in Brisbane Qld 1893 and died in Brisbane Qld 17 June 1904.

I have been unsuccesful to date in locating the birth, marriage and death details for her parents Patrick Cleary and Mary Ruane, as well as trace the location of some of her siblings.  Known details of the family are outlined below.   I would be very appreciative for any information that may help me uncover this mystery.

Regards

Judy

  • Hi Judy,

    Thanks for your enquiry.

There was an earlier query from Noreen concerning Patrick and Mary Cleary. Are you related to Noreen?

Do you have any folk memories of Kilbeacanty or letters or photos?

As the query relates to Kilbeacanty I will follow up on it rather than Sister DeLourdes and myself duplicating each others work.

I will look again at my previous searches and check if I can find any other leads.

I have looked at the wills archive but I did not find anything there.I will get back to you but I

     will need a little time.

    Kind Regards

    Aine
