           Just noticed ur enquiry, have u made any progress in finding ur Flanagan ancestory, (Kilbegnet) . ...I may be able to help. I live in this area, and am aware of the links of the flanagans, the areas where they lived, my gg gran was also a Flanagan  from Kilbegnet parish.

Thank you for all the suggestions. We have taken DNA tests and have found a sibling to George William Flanagan. A Mary Flanagan born 15 October 1836. Her parents were Patrick and Catherine Neilen. We are not sure where in Galway the family came from or if there are other siblings. Mary went to the USA. We would be grateful for any further suggestions.
