I have found a marriage registration (rootsireland) for a woman I believe to be a sister of my gg grandmother.  Celia (aka Cicily) Kelly married Darby Finerty on 2/9/1869 in Bullaun Co Galway.  Darby's address was Ballymurry, he was a farmer, 34, and single.  Celia's address was Bealagara she was 24 and a spinster. Darby's father was also Darby.  Celia's father was Pat Kelly.  Witnesses were Pat Finerty and Margaret Kennedy.  A google search for the address Bealagara only showed me it was in Killeroran Parish.  As I will be in Ireland in September I am hoping to find a more precise location of this address.  I am also hoping to find evidence that Celia is indeed a sister of my gg grandmother Mary Kelly.  Mary married Patrick Kelly in Milford Mass in 1870.  Her marriage certificate shows her mother as Margaret Callan and her father as Patrick Kelly, but her death certificate from 1906 (also in Milford Mass) shows her mother as Margaret Coleman and her father as Patrick Kelly.  Mary's obituary also states she left 1 sister in Millbury Mass and 3 sisters in Ireland.  I have not yet found her sister in Millbury Mass or evidence connecting her to any women in Ireland.  My suspicion that Celia is Mary's sisters comes from the death record of a Margaret Kelly who died 12/24/1887 in Bullaun.  An entry in a family bible suggests this was Mary's mother.  Margaret's death record indicates her granddaughter Mary Finerty was present at the time of her death.  Darby and Celia had a daughter named Mary.  A death record for a Patrick Kelly who died in 1883 in Bullaun and is believed to be Margaret's husband shows that Darby Finery occupier was the informant for his death.

I'm wondering if the townland was either Bellayarha South or Bellayarha North. NOTE: The 1901 census spelling was Ballyarha. Almost all the families in the 1901 census were in Ballyarha North including a Finnerty family.

Bullaun civil parish is small with only five townlands including the two mentioned above. The townlands are only about 4 kilometers from Ballymurry.

Let me know if you have questions.
