Hello,
Researching my family's origins in Ireland particularly Spiddal. My second great grandfather William P. Reagan was born in Spiddal around 1860 according to death records. I wanted to see if I could find out more as I have hit a bit of a wall in not being able to go any further.

I searched Roots Ireland in Spiddal from 1860-1870 and could not find a baptismal record for William. The Spiddal parish records start in early 1861 http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0641 so if William was born in 1860 or a little earlier a baptismal record would not exist. Do you have any other family information such as siblings.
