My GGG grandparents were both born in Tynagh about 1780. James Cavanagh and Honor Connors. They married and had one child, a son, Thomas born 1803 who was convicted of Whiteboy and transported in 1832 on the ship Eliza to NSW, Australia.
His wife Jane Susan (Meade) and children followed several years later. I am assuming James and Honor were buried in or near Tynagh.I don't have an marriage details either or an exact birth date for either of them. Everywhere I look I find about 1780 for both.
Any information you could find would be fanatastic as I seem to have hit a dead end at the moment.

Hi, I am also looking for James and Honora Cavanagh. Their son Thomas was sent to Australia for "whiteboy crimes"
I am his 3rd great grand-daughter and I live in New Zealand.
