My Gallivan Grandparent lived in  in Finuge , Ireland. In 1880,  James Galvin. was baptixed in Ardfert, Relihan in Daugh, and resided in Finuge, Ireland, they were baptized at St. Mary's Church in Listowel County Kerry. lived in Finuge, Ireland when they immigrated to the USA in 1878-1888. Brothers James and John Gallivan came to the USA in 1880. Mortimor and his sister Mary crossed the pond in 1884-1885. Mary stayed in the New England area and married a Murphy. Mortimor went to Ramsey County, St. Paul Minnesota in 1884-5 and stayed with relatives. He joined brothers James and John in Chicago, Illoinis in 1888. Mortimor became a Teamster  like his brother John.

Mary Relihan immigrated to the USA in 1880. We are not sure where she lived in the US before she married John Gallivan in 1889-90. We believe the two returned to Ireland to be married in Tralee, Ireland near family in 1888-9 and returned to the US. JamesGalvin who resided in Chicago, Illinois married Margaret Relihan (Mary's older sister) immigrated to the USA in 1878. She was married  in 1885 in Chicago, Illinois to James Galvin. . So the two Gallivan/Galvin  brothers married the two Relihan sisters. Mortimor as far as we can determine never married. He died in 1901 in  Chicago.

Mary Relihan  returned to Ireland three times between 1880 and 1905. She made arrangements for her brothers Michael, Daiel, her sister Ellen and her parents Maurice and Ellen (Kelly). to immigrate to the USA between 1881-1885. .
