The history given here is wrong on many points I am sorry to say. I am not sure if it has been written as a joke?
for example
''On the 5th November 1600 Sir Charles Wilmot was executed folloowing a 28 day siege where the Castle was Garrisoned''
Actually Charles Wilmot was leading the siege, in charge of the English Forces! He was not executed - he was the one doing the executing!!
