John Jephson or Jepson born approx 1852 in Listole
Johanna Moriaty born approx 1859 Kerry

Hi Denise ref you query. What denomination were the Jephsons?
www.irishgenealogy.ie has some baptism/marriage records both RC & COI for the name. Cant see a John.
www.nationalarchives.ie Griffiths Valuation has 2 records for a George Jephson in Listowel c. 1852. Could he be father of your John?Regards Frances

Hi Denise if you have Johns Marriage Cert from 1878 does it give his fathers name. As Johns birth was before Civil Registration in Ireland 1864 he wouldnt have a Birth Cert. Do you have a Death Record for him - it may name his parents. Regards Frances
