After much research, I have come to believe that my Lindon/Linden relatives come from an area in County Kerry . It is called the Iraghticonnor Barony and the village Affouley and Kilnaughtin.

I believe that my gggrandmother Mary Ann Lindon was left in the care of an aunt after her mother died and she made her way to the US to marry my gggrandfather Thomas White, whom she was betrothed.. I believe his father was named John or Thomas and he had three brothers and two sisters, his brothers being Michael, James and John. Hist sister was named Mary and ? They made it to the US. Mary Ann had family who came over to the US. I believe her brother was Francis but she left some brothers behind.

I have found two Lindons in this area, John and Thomas in the 1851Griffiths in  and found a John White (possible relative in Griffiths in Affouley.

Lindon is an uncommon name for the area and I knew they were not Northern Ireland, we always heard Kerry  and I thought the White is so common if I could find the two together, they might be in the right area.

It is Lindon as they settled in Rochester NY where she had family in 1846 and there is but one Lindon there in 1850 census.

They are two Lindons in Listowel. Would they mind if I contacted them? Is there any possible "proof" I am on the right track. I do my genealogy fairly well but do not find the definitive answer.

Thank you for any help. Hard for me to be concise on this.
