My Great great gandfather - Michael Ryan born (maybe 15.11.1803) Callan.

Came to Australia as a convict, aged 15 years. Convicted for 'larceny from house', term seven years.

Vessel - Earl St Vincent, departed from Cork 7th August 1818, arrived in Sydney 21st December 1818.

Unconfirmed information - father Daniel Ryan, mother Catherine O'Connell also from Callen.

I would love to find any information about his parents or siblings.

He married Johanna Wallace from Mallow in 22nd October 1839. They had eleven children.

Their son Edward had a son John, he had a son Allan - my father.

Many thanks

Kay

The RC records for Callan start in 1821 too late for baptismal records for Michael or siblings. I also checked the 1827 Tithe listings for Callan civil parish and although there were a number of Ryan records none for a Daniel. Here is the link to the Tithe search page.
