I am hoping to find any information on my x2 great grandmother Mary Kelly. Her father was Richard Kelly and mother Bridget Quin(n). The family story is that Mary left Ireland using her friend's sailing pass to come to Australia to work for a doctor in St Kilda Melbourne to help him with his Down Syndrome daughter. She was about 16 on arrival which we think was about 1865. She married Horatio(Henry) Barry in 1870 then later John Tierney.
Any help at all would be appreciated.

The Griffiths Valuation survey was conducted in Co. Kilkenny in 1849. Assuming Mary's father was leasing land in 1849, he would likely be one of the ten individuals below.
