Have you tried looking for some record of Margaret or Richard in the Tithe Applotment Books. This was a land survey compiled between 1823 and 1837 in order to determine the amount which occupiers of agricultural holdings should pay in tithes to the Church of Ireland. Here is a link:

Thank you for the suggestions.

My main problem is with the name Richard Coote.

I belive there was a very strong family with this name and they seem to dominate the records. I have not been able to see past him.

May be mine is a poor cousin?
