Sgt. John Carr of the RIC was born about 1845 in a location called Queens County, Ireland. He married Sarah A., maiden name unk, who was born in County Carlow abt 1857. They lived on Marshes Street, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, for many years, having most or all of their 13 children there, who included Sarah b.1885, Margaret b. 1887, William b. 1889, Bernard b. 1893, Judith b. 1896, Eileen b. 1897, Joseph b. 1898, and Catherine b. 1900. John died sometime after 1911. His daughter Sarah emigrated to the USA in 1904. Any information about the family would be appreciated. Thank you.
