I have found the marriage of Nicholas Dobbin to Mary Butler and one baptism

The Muckalee RC parish records have a huge gap for baptisms from 1806-1840 see parish register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0997
This would explain why you did not find a baptismal record for Nicholas.

My great-grandparents were married in Muckalee on Feb. 27, 1827. They were William Bergin and Ellen Stapleton. One of their witnesses was named Mary Butler. They went on to have 7 children but there is only a baptismal record for the youngest, Patrick, born in 1842 and baptized at Conahy.
