Does anybody have relatives that are from Pleberstown, Ireland? We are from the Butler clan who were farmers in Pleberstown. I have a bunch of questions regarding Pleberstown, if someone knows something about it.
Our relatives can be traced back to Thomas Butler (1775) and Mary McGrath of Pleberstown and were married at St Mary's Church, February 7, 1824. We were in Killkenny for the Butler reunion and we went over to Thomastown Catholic Cemetery and wrote down all of the names of the Butlers of Pleberstown. We expect that all of them either are directly related to us or brothers and sisters of Thomas. Oddly enough we did not see Thomas Butler or his wife buried there.
I would like to hook up with someone who had relatives or are from Pleberstown.

I dont know that my Butlers are from Pleberstown but I understand a Mr. Butler still resides in Pleberstown which is rural. there is a Thomas Butler in the Bennetsbridge Rc graveyard erected by a brother, Martin Butler. who knows if this is your ancestor.

Is it possible to get the address of the Butler who remains in Pleberstown?
Also is it possible to get the gravestone statement of the Bennetsbridge Rc Graveyard? We have a Martin Butler in our line who was born in Pleberstown and we have often wondered how we got a Martin when the names went from Thomas to John To Thomas.
Could you tell be where Bennetsbridge is located in Kilkenny County?
