Elizabeth Conroy or Conray

Hi Elizabeth,

I went to www.rootsireland.ie and seasrched for your Elizabeth Conroy.  I found 3 records for an Elizabeth Conroy 1841 - 1843 in Co. Laois.

You will have to looka at all three records to see which one is your ancestor.  Do you have any more names in your family tree? What were her parents names? or what names did she give her children. Most children were called after their grandparents.

Anne, thank you for the quick reply. I appreciate the tip about searching for parents based on grandchildrens' names.  The children were William Francis (named after the father, William Walker), Misellay (daughter - I think I'm reading it correctly), Joseph Samuel (my ancestor), and George Albert. Based on your advice, likely names for her parents are Misellay and Joseph.
