My GGgrandfather is Rev John fisher, who was the priest at Carrigallen Presbyterian Church.  He died in 1860.  friend went to Carrigallen and took photos of the church.

There are photos of other fishers wondering if anyone is connected to them?

    Hi,

Thank you for your message. I hope that someone who knows of or is related to the Fishers makes a connection with you.

It may be an idea to post some more information if you have. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.

Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi,

Don't know if this thread is a active but came upon it on internet search

My Great Grandmother was Eliza Fisher who married John Magee 26 April 1887 in Carrigallen Presbyterian Church. her father was William Fisher, and her residence is given as "Corrick". Griffiths Valuation has rev John Fisher in "Clooncorick". Other than that I don not the relations between William and Rev. John.
