Francis or Frank Reynolds born abt 1834 in Mohill was my 2x great grandfather. His parents, according to his marriage certificate were John Reynolds (1810-66) and Anne Hart (1812-1874). Francis emigrated to Sydney , Australia aboard the "FitzJames", arriving on 20 February 1860. He married Catherine Maher (from Offaly) in Balmain, Sydney on 22 October 1868. Having searched Griffiths valuations and Census, I realise there are many. many Reynolds families in Mohill. However, in the hope that someone might know something more about Francis Reynolds or his parents, I am seeking your assistance. Francis was a "master dairyman" in Australia.
Hoping someone can help me.

Hi Barbara, I too have a Francis Reynolds [3xgrt GF], born in Mohill, Leitrim who was born in about 1796 to unknown parents & died 1868. He had a son, Peter, born 1825 & Francis was married to Ann McCarthy [?] I too have been researching the many Reynolds families from Mohill & have been overwhelmed. I see there is still a Reynolds business in Glebe St., Mohill, where Francis & Ann had peroperty too. Same family pedigree?? Hope so. I live in Perth western Australia, where Peter came to Fremantle in 1855 as a free settler. I am also seeking help for Francis & Ann's parents or Pedigree. Thank you ...Debbie Stirk.
