Can anyone tell me how I can find out the parents of Thomas Gormely who married Margaret Reilly apr-jun 1890 regestered in Mohill...Looking the names of both sets of parents,,, Reilly / Gormely.. from Aughawillan, Gortermone. Newtowngore. Ballinamore....Carrigallen Co Leitrim.. any help would be wonderful..

Kate: The copy of the marriage record should provide the names of the fathers of Thomas and Margaret and the townlands they were living in when they were married. I would then see if I could locate Church records. You may also want to try www.rootsireland.ie which is a pay site to see if they have any of the marriage records for the parents. Roger McDonnell
