I have conflicting info about her birthplace. Ireland or England?? Thank you very much for your help. I am from a very large Catholic family from southern Minnesota. My mother had 22 children and I am the 9th. Jane Press is the mother of Margaret Meade Lynch, my great-grandmother, wife of James Lynch, and daughter of Jane Press and John Meade of Belle Plain, MN. I see on ancestry that John Meade was born 1809 so Jane would be assumedly within 5 or so years of that. Do you have a death record with her age to give an accurate birth year?
There were no records of her birth in Ireland and the English records only begin in 1837.
