Michael McCarthy married Elizabeth (Eliza) Reidy circa1825. We understand two daughters Mary and Helen were baptized at Kilkornan, Parish Askeaton circa 1825. Understand Michael was borne circa 1808 and Elizabeth cica 1811. Know that Michael, Elizabeth and Mary, Thomas, Cath and Ellen migrated to Australia leaving Cork 1838 as bounty passengers on the Aliquis arriving in Sydney 1839.

Hi Stephen,
If you have a look on www.rootsireland.ie/ you will find a record for the birth of Michael McCarthy in Limerick in 1808. There are also records for the births of Helen and Mary with parents Michael and Elizabeth in Limerick.
I could not find the marriage or Elizabeth's birth however.
You can purchase records on rootsireland for much less than from the GRO & you get them immediately.
