Hello there in Ireland!

Glad we found your website. we believe that my wife's Great Great Grandfather is buried there.

His name was James Maley and his son was James Maley as well. He came to Canada in 1846. We are planning to visit your town in may and hope to visit his grave as well. Is there a plotplan for the graveyard or is it kind of small?

We would appreciate any information you have or contacts were we could find out more.

Looking forward to hear from you and maybe we can meet you in May.

Thanks a lot.

Win

  • Hi Win

As an aisde, do you have other info about James? The Roman Catholic records for that parish begin in 1841 (baptiams and marriages) so if you haven't already looked at 'Family Search' or 'Roots Ireland' (you can google them) you may be able to find out more. I don't think the graveyard has been digitised yet (so there would be no plan) based on the bottom piece from the link below fromLimerick County Council Burial Grounds info. Perhaps there is someone more local here who could assist, I am in Co. Galway so not familiar with the area.

    Best of luck
