My great grandfather, Robert Lyons, was born 15 Mar 1809 in County Tyrone (probably Killyclogher) to Robert Lyons (abt 1776-1852) and his wife Margaret Frances Black (Abt. 1787 - 1856). There were 7 children: Mary Ann, Robert, Margaret, Jane, Matilda, Rachel, and Thomas. I would love to know more about the family. Margaret Frances Black had a sister Mary who married Margaret's husband Robert's brother Joseph. This Joseph & Mary had 10 children born from 1813-1836 . Many in this family immigrated to the U.S. I know more about this family than I do Joseph's brother Robert's family who were earlier.
