I have recently learned that this man is very possibly one of my ancestors. If this is the right Timothy Brown(e), his family (wife and several children - probably seven or eight) emigrated in 1849 to Boston, Massachusetts, USA. His wife was Hannah Kelly, who was also from County Limerick. This Timothy shows up in Griffiths Valuation in 1850-51, which would be after his family left, so the question arises why would they leave without him? Anyway, if anyone can give me more information about this Timothy - or, more importantly, THE Timothy Brown who was married to Honora or Hannah Kelly, I'd be so grateful!

    I couldn't find a marriage record.

    The Tithe Applotments (free at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/ have 155 Brownes in Limerick 1825-34 but no Timothys or Thadeuses.

    No luck in the 1821 or 41 Irish Censuses either.
