Looking for any information about my great-great grandparents, Michael Mullin and his wife Mary (Ryan)) Mullin. They were natives of the County of Limerick, Parish of Gallbilly, Ireland. They emigrated in 1848 and settled at Clayton, Jefferson County, New York, U.S.A. Michael was first married to Catherine (Picket) Mullin of Limerick. She bore him 2 children and died at age 30 yrs. Michael then married Mary (Ryan ) Mullin. She bore him 7 children.  I would greatly appreciate any information .

I looked on Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie and found a Michael Mullin/Mary Ryan marriage in 1839 in the Galbally RC records. Is that too early?

Roots also has 7 baptismal records for Mullin children born to Michael Mullin and Mary Ryan. Without having the first names of the children, Roots won't let you search by parish. I did try names like John, Michael, Catherine and Mary and they did not show up in Galbally.

Roots is a pay site to view a transcription of a church record. You can work with the Roots indexes for free.
