I know my great great grandfather Patrick Heenan born around 1836 and from I think Knocknascrow went to live in Wales with his wife Ellen O'Brien. He is recorded on the 1871 Wales Census living in Rhymney Monmouthshire with his wife and two childen Patrick anf Morris. I am wondering if any descendants of the family still live in the area. I would be pleased to receive any information abnout Patrick's parents and siblings.

There are 3 baptism records of Patrick Heenan 1836 + - 5years on www.rootsireland.ie/ ( a pay per view site); 1 is 1834 & 2 1835
All are from Kilbehenny RC parish so not sure how to work out which is yours!

I done genealogy work a number of years ago and I found Heenan living descendants in Kilbehenny, Mitchelstown and Anglesboro.
