  • Hi Craig,

If you haven't done so already, you should join the following facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/585781828107292/
Ireland Reaching Out- Peter Robinson Settlers in Canada.
The area affected as you know between 1823- 1825 was all along the blackwater area from Kilbehenny, through Mitchelstown into Mallow.
We hope over the next few years to be able to find out more about the families that left this area, as right now their lives here and the families left behind are not recorded or known to any real degree.
If you join the group you may find out more from the group members in the meantime- I hope for now that helps, Kind Regards, Amanda
