I am looking for information on the family of Mary Anne Gallagher who arrived in Australia on the "Joshua" on 8th April 1858, with her brother Maurice, both were listed under the surname 'Galway' on the ships list. Mary was aged 17.

Information on her marriage record has Mary's parents as Morris (Maurice) Gallagher and Johanna Facey (Treacy). I have unconfirmed information as follows:

Father: Maurice Gallagher Born 1785 Kilcruaigmore, Kilflyn, Limerick; Died 1858 Kilflyn, Limerick. Son of Thomas.

Mother: Johanna Treacy Born c.1797 Coolevha, Kilflyn, Limerick; Died 1879.

Children of Maurice and Johanna were:

Bess; Ellen; Thomas (1830-1886); Maurice Thomas (1835-1913); Johanna (1836-1927); John (1839-1916) and Mary Anne (c.1840-1917) The last 4 children married and died in Australia.

Mary married Jacob Brown (c.1842-1915) on 11 May 1867 in St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, NSW, Settled in Newcastle and gave birth to at least 7 children.

I would really appreciate any information on Mary's ancestry.

The only info I can locate is the 1850 Griffiths Valuation for Kilflyn parish which shows that Maurice was still living in Kilcruiag townland.  http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/limerick/kilflyn.php

The 1901 census for Kilcruiag has a couple Gallaghers. One is a 57 year old Mary Gallagher who possibly may have married a son of Maurice?
