McCarthy/Reidy pre 1839

Looking for any connection for the family of Michael McCarthy & his wife Eliza (Reidy). Have found 2

baptisms for girls Hellen? & Maria (Mary) 1825 in Kilcornan/Stonehall), Mary fits with the eldest girl who came to Australia with family March 1839 aboard "Aliquis". Although baptised Roman Catholic, were Protestant on shipping lists. Other children Thomas12 Cath9 Ellen6, four more children born Australia. Have traced all BDM,s of all family except Eliza's death.

Years ago a researcher found a "Thomas Reidy"  farmer having land in Rathkeale & Askeaton, as Eliza's father was Thomas, wondered if any connection to her. Also apparently land bought in Australia, Eliza's  signature was on the document, which we were told was most unusual in those early days.

Any ideas would be most appreciated, as my daughter & I plan to come to Ireland in September 2015.
