Seeking any information on and descendants of Marmaduke Smith b. Dooncaha Limerick-m.(1) Ann O'Donnell (2) Jane Giles (Gyles) 1813 Loghill. A son (my gggrandfather) John Smith b. abt. 1816 was a Monteagle emigrant to Austrralia in 1841. He married Johannah Walsh in Melbourne in 1844. She was on the same voyage and was the daughter of Michael Walsh and Johannah Egan (Dooncaha). All but 1 of their children eventually came to Australia.

Unfortunately, these dates are earlier than the time the Kilcolman Parish records begin. This is about the time frame most people get "stuck" with Irish genealogy.
I've searched Ancestry.com for you, and there is a Marmaduke Smith listed in the Tith Applotment books for Upper Duncaha in 1834
There is also a Marmaduke Smith listed as a paternal ancestor at Family Tree DNA at: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Johnson/default.aspx?section=ysnp Use the "find" (CTRL +"f" key) function to locate this entry..
I used Google and was unable to find anything further about either marriage.

Shanagolden List Of sources,
it will show all parishes in co limerick
& when the records were first recorded.
