I checked Roots Ireland and found the same three baptismal records. There was a Margaret McNiece record in 1801 but the mother's name was not Mulholland.  In case you don't have the link, here is the parish register

Hello!

My name is Charles Neacy.  I am researching my family history and I have reason to believe that my family line goes back to John Neacy and Catherine Mulholland.  As of now, this is unconfirmed; I am trying to verify this.  If there is a connection, John Neacy would be my GGGGrandfather. They had a son, Laurence Neacy (1803-1884), who married Rose Byrne.  I am attempting to confirm that Laurence/Rose had William Neacy.  I have confirmed that my GGrandfather was William Neacy who was married to Margaret Duffy.  I have confirmed William/Margarets children.  They had 8 children; Patrick Neacy was my Great-Grandfather.  He came to NYC in the late 1890's.

I would appreciate any information that would confirm my connection to Laurence and John.  I am also attempting to identify descendants of my great Aunts/Uncles who stayed in Ireland.  I know of at least 2 who came to NYC.

Thank you for replying.  Since my post I have confirmed that my direct decendants are not related to Lawrence/Rose.  That would have been too easy!!  Still on the hunt to find William's parents!!
