Hi William
looking back on Louth queries, I stumbled across a Facebook page on the RIC that will answer queries on the RIC, it is a closed group but just apply to join. I think the admin has written a book on the subject, see royal irish constabulary1816-1922 -a forgotten irish police force, also some one else was looking for this name or a variant in Louth about 2 years ago. I will revert if I find the query as I have been keeping a look out for the name.
Good Luck
Pat
